DIRECTIONS

Back by popular demand for year six!

This is a non-checking camp. All protective equipment needed will be provided at no additional cost.

Two hours daily for all five days! Children interested in learning how to play ice hockey will be thrilled at the amount of time they will get on the ice. Apart from offensive/defensive exercises, game rules and proper pre-game stretching, our counselors will emphasize: directional skating (backwards, side to side, crossovers), balance, stick handling, passing and receiving the puck and positioning. Goal tending will not be ignored. Children interested in the goaltender position will be given extra attention throughout the week.

Campers will meet at Lakeland Ice Arena at 1:00pm daily. Equipment preparation, stretching, and previous day review will take place until 1:55pm. On ice training will run from 2:00 to 4:00pm.

Camp is open to boys and girls, ages 7 to 11.
