Roller hockey camp is back for it’s tenth year. With the nicest instructors around, campers can expect 5 days of fun on our custom made BORDER PATROL hockey rink. The main focus will be on individual and team drills, and non-contact game play. Players will learn skating techniques, player transition, in-line hockey rules and strategy while participating in skating, shooting and technique drills, as well as daily game play.

Beginning skating skills are required. The only equipment needed for this camp is roller blades. Oakland Yard will supply all other equipment, protective and otherwise, including helmet, knee and elbow pads, gloves and stick which will be custom fitted the first day of camp. Please list on your application where provided what equipment your child will need to participate in this camp. In case of rain campers will play street hockey or participate in an indoor field day (see rain day policy).

This camp is open to boys and girls, ages 7 to 12. Camp is limited to 18 participants per week.

Pee Wee - Ages 5 - 7

Exclusively reserved for our younger campers, your little tyke will experience the fun and thrill of this exciting team sport while learning the basics of roller hockey in this five-day camp. With an emphasis on skating and general rules of play, your camper will skate away with a basic understanding of the sport of roller hockey. The only equipment needed for this camp is roller blades. All other equipment, protective and otherwise, helmet, knee and elbow pads, gloves, and stick will be provided by Oakland Yard and custom fitted on the first day of camp.
