How did you think Black Beard and the Egyptian
Tomb hunters got
their experience? Does ‘X’ really
mark the spot? They
learned their skills through trial and error;
this camp will challenge
the Indian Jones’ of the future. Kids
will have to use magnifying
glasses, binoculars, shovels, mirrors, ropes,
metal detectors,
dictionaries, their minds, and their fellow
campers to crack the
codes that lead to the day’s treasure.
Just like the weekly New York Times crossword
puzzles, the codes
and clues will get more and more difficult
as the week progresses.
Rhymes, riddles, maps, keys; these will also
be part of the camp
that will puzzle our young hunters daily.
The treasure that these
hunters find will not only be tasty and valuable,
but it will also be
used to start the next days adventure.
Camps will be age appropriate with clues and
codes designed to
challenge both age groups.
This camp is open to
boys and girls ages 5 to 7, and 8
to 10
Each week will be open to the first 12 campers.
Two different age groups will be offered.
