It’s
time to explore the world that once existed
and presently exists
under the world’s seas and lakes. Give
your little explorer
the gift of exploration and activity during
this week of fun. We’ll start
out learning about the monsters that once
swam during
the dinosaur days. After seeing and learning,
campers will build three
-dimensional models of these creatures to
take home.
Tuesday, it’s the ocean and all its
glory, from sharks to sea anemones.
We’ll bring in living salt-water surprises
to hold and study.
On Wednesday, we’ll look closer to home.
What’s swimming in our back
yard? What’s swimming in the waters
of Michigan,
from the great lakes to the inland lakes swim
in and ski on? Then on
Thursday, it’s off to Indian Springs
Metropark’s Nature
Center to learn more about their pond study
program. Indian Springs
Certified Naturalists will guide children
through the pond study
program.
Afterwards, all campers will get access to
Indian Springs all-new spray
park, rock wall, and maze, followed by a picnic
lunch! Lunch is served
daily at 11:30am.
This camp is open to
boys and girls ages 6 to 9.
Space is limited to 12 campers per session.
