Remember that feeling when you emerge from a tunnel into a sunlit,
open-air stadium? That's the feeling you get when you enter our
naturally lighted dome and practice baseball and softball.
Why practice in a cramped warehouse?
Since 1995, Oakland Yard has been synonymous with offering the
highest quality venues to play in leagues or train for your
sport. We bring that same level of excellence to our baseball
and softball facilities. Opened since 1995, we offer 3
professional grade batting cages adjacent to the largest open
field space around, 72,000 sq ft of synthetic turf and 5,000 sq
ft of speed and training equipment. Our lighting is the highest
intensity, 63,000 watts. It's the brightest dome around so you
can see what you're catching.

Individual Rentals and Package Offers
Individual cages are available for rent during normal hours at the rate of
$30/cage-hr. Each cage comes with baseballs or softballs and L-screens. See all
of our pricing below. You can prebook a consistent time for your practices or
just call us for availability as you need practices.

| 2013 - Outdoor Friday Night
Instructional T-Ball League |
This outdoor (Friday nights) 'instructional' t-ball league will give (K and 1st
grade) boys and girls the chance to play in an organized t-ball game with
experienced coaches. For parents and siblings; our patio bar will be open every
Friday for beverages and food, additionally our slip-n-slide will be open to all
children 5:00pm to 10pm.
No prior experience is required for participation. Children will play a one-hour
game every Friday evening. The first meeting of seven will be used as an
ice-breaker / skill session. Games start week-two, all instruction is provided
during league play. Team rosters will be capped at 10 per max.
Parents will be provided a letter week-one on how to get friends together on the
same team for the season. All families will be emailed on the Tuesday prior (5/8
and 7/10) with a time to meet for the first Friday of the session. Skill
development, not winning will be stressed. Team jerseys will be provided on
week-two. Gym shoes or cleats are recommended, all players need their own glove
and baseball cap.

Description |
The 9/10u leagues are eight, two-hour games. Our league, now in it's
4th season year, features real games with live pitching, live
fielding, open rosters, unlimited substitution, lead offs, steals,
and 4 ball 3 strike counts.
Field dimensions include 46' pitching,
65' bases, with 12' high outfield walls.
Game balls and umpire fees
included. Every effort will be made to create a flexible schedule
and to insure competitive games. Dome Ball at Oakland Yard is a
blast for the boys and a great opportunity for teams to get a head
start on next summer's competition.
Games are Saturday afternoon/evening.

| 13U Boys League |
|
Description |
The 13U league features 10, 90-minute games played every other
Friday in the main dome.
Field dimensions are Left Field 250',
Center Field 350', Right Field 215', with age appropriate
pitching/base distances, great lighting and a perfect field turf
playing surface.
Game balls and umpire fees included. This league
features open rosters, unlimited substitution, and it's real
baseball on a full sized field. Dome Ball is a great opportunity for
teams and players to get a head start for summer baseball and school
tryouts.
Registration is limited to the first 8 teams. |
