Outdoor Coed Soccer Rules
Games
will be played in accordance with 2007
FIFA rules.
Yellow and red cards will be used in the
officiating of games.

Rules are as follows:
1.No sliding or slide tackling. A knee
touching the ground will be considered
sliding. This call will be left up to
the discretion of the referees.
2. All players must wear matching OYA
numbered jerseys in order to play. Players
without matching jerseys will not be permitted
to play.
3. All players must be rostered with a
team. The presence of any “ringers”
or illegal players will result in a forfeit
for the perpetrating team. Furthermore:
1. All rosters will be checked before
the match, any player not registered will
not be allowed to play.
2. Any players not on the roster may purchase
a “Sub-Slip” at the front
desk for $10. The “Sub-Slip”
allows the player to play in one game
per week. Any player purchasing four “Sub-slips”
will be permanently added to the roster.
3. There will be no “Sub-slips”
for playoffs.
4. Goalies are universal and do not have
to be rostered.
4. Team managers must sign off on the
final game score before leaving. There
will be no contesting of scores after
the night of play has concluded.
5. Screw-in cleats are not permitted.
6. Players are prohibited from drinking
any alcoholic beverages. The league manager
and referees will have discretion over
whether a player will be allowed to participate.
7. All players must wear shin guards;
any player not wearing them will not be
permitted to play.
8. Any player receiving 4 yellow cards/2
red cards in a season will be expelled
from the league the following game.
9. Teams may substitute players in the
following circumstances:
1. When their own team has been awarded
a throw-in
2. When a goal kick has been called for
either team.
3. Substitutions will not be allowed during
corner kicks.
10. There must be 4 girls on the field
at all times. A team can play with 3 girls,
but they MUST play a man down. Less then
3 girls, the game will be considered a
forfeit.
11. In addition to the game score, each
team will receive a “Sportsmanship
Rating.” The rating is based on
a four point system with a rating of “4”
being the best, and “0” being
the worst. Any team receiving a “1”
or a “0” will forfeit the
game and be subject to review by management.
An average rating of “2.5”
is required to participate in the playoffs.
This rating is left to the discretion
of the game referees. Any physical altercations
will result in an immediate rating of
“1” or “0.”

All games will have two 35~minute halves
with a 5 minute half time.
