FIELD TRIPS

BOOKING


We reserve our facility on a per day basis. One school group only per date, minimum 50 students for exclusivity. Dates reserved on a first book basis.  $100 deposits due at time of booking.

Times for all parties are anytime between 10am - 2pm.

COST

The cost per elementary student is $12.
The cost per middle and high school student is $14.
There is not a charge for teachers/chaperones.

FOOD / DRINK

That cost includes unlimited hotdogs, potato chips, and fruit punch/lemonade.

ACTIVITIES

All Oakland Yard assets are available for use.
Indoor golf, slip-n-slide(includes attendant throughout), turf sports fields, volleyball courts/sandbox, basketball court, low ropes course, party tent (includes tables and chairs), and covered patio area. Covered patio features music, picnic tables with umbrellas, and a fire pit.

While having a picturesque view from our three-tiered pavilion you’ll dine from an endless menu and sip on a beverage of your choice from our full-service bar.

You, too, can engage in numerous activities such as:
 
Sand Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer or just kicking the ball around on our newly installed astroturf field. How about just tossing a football to a friend? Perhaps your children are playing in our huge sandbox or they may be cooling off while “swooshin” down our ever popular slippin’ slide, you might want to join them!

Step into our indoor Sports Dome and practice that golf swing; if you forgot your clubs don’t worry we have plenty.

Birthday party season April 15 – October 20, 2012.
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
$275 per party / Up to 20 kids

All birthday parties at Oakland Yard Athletics are 2.5 hours of time.

Party base location (dome, patio, tent) is reserved on a first come, first reserved basis. Consult with Philip when booking for suggestions. Parties can be organized any day per availability.
All birthday party guests can play whichever sport they would like, changing games whenever they feel like switching sports. All equipment is included (except baseball/softball gloves). Kids can play: soccer, basketball, flag football, indoor golf, mini-stick floor hockey, baseball or softball. Every party includes a coordinating athletic coach who’s job is to organize the kids into whichever sport they wish to play and then keep things moving. Our non-coaching staff will organize food, drinks, decorations. If the weather cooperates for the use of our slip-n-slide, all children are welcome to use it. Your athletic coordinator will move all children (kids must stay together as a group throughout your party) to the slide and then its cool down time! Kids need to bring their towels and bathing suits to the party. Parents: This information needs to be expressed on the party invitation.

Party includes: Marco’s Pizza for all children. Pizza for kids is cheese/pepperoni. It is our goal to serve enough pizza per party that extra can be taken home. Extra pizzas can be ordered for adults attending at $11 per pizza. Drinks include fountain Pepsi products (lemonade and fruit punch available). A custom birthday cake (1/4 sheet cake), kids can choose chocolate, white, or marbled cake. Any color frosting/printing can be ordered. Balloons, tables coverings, and all food related paper products. Take home party favors are not included, parents are welcome to bring and pass-out party favors.

It was wonderful! I cannot tell you how surprised Jeff was- we totally pulled off the surprise element for sure. We had a little glitch with one of the power outlets for the food, but we worked it out. (someone should probably check it out for future users) Everyone was very impressed with the facilities-a lot of the locals weren't aware of how much you have going on back there-so they really enjoyed themselves. The kids were loving the water slide and all the other activities. Your staff is to be complimented too-they were very helpful and did agreat job! Thanks for making a great evening possible- I'll definitely recommend OY!!!

Our son’s Graduation Party at Oakland Yard exceeded all our expectations:

- the tent perfectly accommodated our 325+ guests seated at 15 round tables during a 6 hour period with plenty of room for serving food (hot & cold), desserts, pop, water, etc.
- the bar was an easy short stroll from the tent and a nice additional gathering area for some to sit back and enjoy a few adult beverages, or take them back to the tent
- there were always games being played in the sand volleyball and basketball courts, and it seemed like the tetherball pole was always in use
- the slip n’ slide was a HUGE HIT with kids of all ages, and even a few adventurous adults
- the little tykes loved the sand box and the rope climbing course
- no injuries were reported during any of the impromptu soccer games that so many kids enjoyed playing on that legendary Oakland Yard “pitch”
- parking was a non-issue - something we dreaded when we considered having the party at our house with our narrow road and skinny lot
- ditto for the restrooms which were clean and plentiful with running water
- they would have been porta-potties had the party been at our house!
- The staff was incredibly attentive and responsive, which was no surprise after working with Philip, one of the owners, who clearly demonstrated that a successful party for us was his priority.


Several of our guests are now planning to have their children’s Graduation Parties at “the Yard”, and you can bet we are too after such an incredible experience.

With so much planning and worrying that goes into these Graduation Parties, you don’t want to take a chance - have it at the Oakland Yard, you’ll be happy you did – we sure are!
